Mariam is a sophomore majoring in Political Science with minors in Psychology and Social Research & Public Policy. She is Palestinian-Canadian-Egyptian by background (it’s quite the mouthful, she is aware). Endlessly curious about Middle Eastern politics, she can usually be found debating world affairs over coffee—or distracted by any cat within a five-metre radius.
