On Feb. 20, Student Interest Groups TASHAN and Pakistan Student Association organized the inaugural NYUAD Gully Cricket League. Freshman Muhammad Osama Khan’s team, The Unpredictables, and Freshman Raghav Kumar’s team, #AllStars, reached the final, with The Unpredictables winning by 29 runs. Each inning was five overs long. The league was divided into six teams, with 44 players in total, representing 16 countries. Each team required a minimum of one female player. The league was divided into two pools, with three teams in each pool. Based on net run rate, the winners of the two pools played the final match for the league trophy.
